Plant Highlights

The Matilija Poppy 'White Cloud' variety is similar to Romneya coulteri, having a fuzz on the calyx and thinner, narrower leaves. We find this selection to stay a little more compact, have profuse, delicately scented flowers and a slightly longer flowering season. The 6" wide flowers are precision white with a yellow, round center. 'White Cloud' foliage is an attractive bluish green. These bushes spread via rhizomes and can be utilized in a beautiful hedge, if properly controlled. The bushes tend to reach four feet in height and spread as long as there is room.
