This a medium height grass that has sturdy, triangular shaped blades and produces blossoms in a triangular pattern. The brownish-white blooms appear in the early spring and attract bees and other pollinating varities of insect. All parts of the grass is used by mammals and birds, making it a good, fast growing hedge or screen at your pond edge.
