Special Characteristic

Plant Highlights

This California fuchsia has fuzzy gray foliage that sets its orange-red flowers off to perfection. This fuchsia is also a favorite with hummingbirds during the summer when the plant is in bloom. 'Uvas Canyon' is the tallest of the California fuchsias, with a deeper red flower than the other native fuchsias. It is also perfect as a border plant or in a garden. Despite its origins in San Jose it has proven to be very reliable both on the coast and inland in Southern California. As with most other California fuchsias, cut back hard after its summer long bloom cycle.
