Mexican Rush is a delicate, dark green evergreen perennial rush that grows to 2' in full or partial sun, in shallow water or moist soil. Although delicate in appearance compared to other rushes, it is a vigourous spreader in wet conditions, but is not drought-tolerant. Much-used in traditional Indian basketweaving.
