Plant Highlights

This San Clemente Island native shrub is rare but deserves to be more commonly cultivated. It is fast growing and drought tolerant. The leaves are tomentose and the clusters of pale pink flowers are very pretty and can be long-lasting in warm climates. This large bush adds beauty to a slope or large scale native garden. Plant in a sunny, dry location with well-draining soil, and pinch back for a denser form.
