Plant Highlights

This shrub has bright yellow flowers that appear in the spring and attract plenty of birds. It also has small spikes on the branches that make this plant a great option for gardens that are threatened by deer. It also makes a great border shrub for a bird garden as it is a favorite during the spring. It is also extremely cold hardy so it would do well in areas with heavy frosts.

I love this plant! It is much more drought tolerant than you would expect! I have some that almost never get water and they look great! Birds love the berries and it is very pretty in flower. The color of the foliage is great too. It is sort of blue/green.
